About Physician Assistant
The physician assistant diploma listed by BSS combines foundations of nursing, pharmacology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, psychology, first aid, nutrition, preventive medicine, surgical nursing and midwifery with practical papers. The educational aim is to develop organised clinical-support awareness and communication within a supervised team.
The title must not be interpreted as independent medical authority. Diagnosis, prescribing, treatment decisions and invasive procedures remain with appropriately qualified and authorised professionals.
