About Anesthesia Technology
Anesthesia technology education prepares students to understand the environment, equipment checks, supplies and monitoring support associated with anaesthetic care. The programme covers human anatomy, fundamentals of anesthesia, intensive-care awareness, preparation for surgery and the defined supporting role of an anesthesia technician.
Because anaesthesia involves high-risk clinical decisions, every practical activity must be directed by qualified and authorised professionals. The programme builds readiness for equipment preparation and observation; it does not permit independent administration of drugs or anaesthesia.
